Bruno Ribeiro

I am an Assistant Professor at California Polytechnic State University, in San Luis Obispo. I received my degree of Master of Fine Arts in design with a specialization in college and university teaching from The Ohio State University in the spring of 2012. As a researcher, my focus is on interaction and motion design.

I hold an MBA in marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV (Rio de Janeiro) and a Bachelor of Science in both visual communication and industrial design, from Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial – ESDI (Rio de Janeiro).

I have recently published on Design and Culture, a book review of Michael Bierut’s How to Use Graphic Design to Sell Things, Explain Things, Make Things Look Better, Make People Laugh, Make People Cry, and (Every Once in a While) Change the World. I have 50 free online copies of the article, in case you want to read it.
